BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Originally from the UK, Hayley has been with STA Travel since 2011 and has worked both in the UK and now NZ division. Having looked after Land Product for STA Travel NZ for the past few years, she now heads up the dedicated B2B & Groups team based in their Auckland head office. She has travelled to over 30 countries, lived in various locations across Australia and spent a year working at Walt Disney World, Orlando as part of her International Business Management course, learning the ultimate in customer experience and organisational logistics.

B2B TRAVEL CO-ORDINATOR

Originally from the United States, Sonya moved to Auckland in 2013, and recently graduated from the University of Auckland with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Having travelled to six out of the seven continents, she has a real passion for all things travel. Sonya is excited to be starting this new adventure with the B2B team.

 

 

GROUPS TRAVEL CO-ORDINATOR

 

Auckland-born and raised, Claire studied business at AUT before starting out her career in travel at the age of 19, working for Rosenbluth International in 2002. Since then, she has worked across multiple areas within the industry, trying her hand at corporate travel, international ticketing and conference and events, giving her a breadth of experience that is rare. Savvy and well-rounded, Claire jumped at the chance to work within the very specialised group capacity at STA Travel in 2011, utilising her flair for logistics and overseeing the movements of some very large groups travelling to all corners of the world. 

 

 

GROUPS TRAVEL CO-ORDINATOR

Born in the Philippines and grew up in Hawkes Bay, Suzanne has always been moving and had an early interest in travelling. Taking up Tourism in high school she finished with a National Certificate in Travel and Tourism and as soon as she graduated, with the encouragement of her father, a fellow wanderlust, she set off on her own travelling to Asia. After travelling seven countries and volunteering for two months in China as a hostel staff and tour guide, Suzanne came back to start a career in what she loves. Able to speak four languages, Suzanne is passionate and driven. She recently moved to Auckland with her husband Matthew and she is beyond excited to be a part of the team and work for her dream company.  

 

B2B TRAVEL CO-ORDINATOR

Born and raised in Tauranga, Laura studied travel and tourism at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in Tauranga and achieved a Diploma in Travel Management before heading overseas. She spent one year working at LAX Airport in Los Angeles and moved to London to complete the 2 year working/holiday visa. While living overseas she caught the travel bug and has now been to 45 countries and counting. She joined STA Travel at the Auckland University branch in 2014 and has loved sharing her experiences with her clients and helping them plan their holidays. She has now joined the B2B & Groups team based in their Auckland Head Office. Outside of work, Laura enjoys travelling and socialising with friends and family.

Having grown up on the North Shore and after completing High School, Elise took off on her OE which turned into a 5 year adventure covering 19 countries. Over the past few years of travelling with her Aussie partner, she has discovered a passion for travel, people, the ocean and food! Elise’s own experiences made her realise that she wanted to help others see the world, so she promptly joined our flagship Queen Street store in Auckland helping young people plan their own escapades and now brings her years of experience to the STA Travel B2B & Groups team.
